In keeping with Tangs’ vision of customising each store’s look and feel relative to its location, we wanted to create something special for their Malaysian store. Influenced by Malaysian culture but beyond a typical Islamic motif, we used the many pillars located inside the store as “light palms” holding up an intricate Islamic geometric patterned ceiling grid.Each of the departments are once again realigned as rooms to create an intimacy to the shopping experience, yet conducive to the flow of movement and visual excitement.
