Tangs second store in Kuala Lumpur was inspired by the mansion of a Chinese ‘towkay’ - with each department playing on the rooms of a rich man’s mansion. The library formed the men’s department with rich dark tones, and the ladies’ department had the feel and tone of a boudoir.
