When Q&A was approached by a former Amanresort GM to design and develop his first private resort project in Bali, he wanted a resort that has moved on from the typical “neo- Balinese” architecture, but yet has the essence of Balinese style. All 26 of the spacious villas were sold within 3 months of launch and have since appreciated in resale value. Traditional Balinese and local materials were used in new ways, and fused with a sensibility that put creative thoughts into how local artisanal craftsmanship can be interpreted with a modern language.
