Aarong is the retail arm of one of the world’s largest NGO based in Bangladesh. Their role is to empower the poor in the villages to find a livelihood by crafting traditional handicrafts that are sold through their Aarong stores.

With 65,000 artisans at our disposal, we try to create a story that showcases the arts and crafts of these artisans in a store that is built as a hope of their dreams to grow globally.  An imposing 6-storey tall ‘Tree of Life’ greets the customer made out of over 65,000 objects

formed into a traditional pattern floating on a motif of the rivers of Bangladesh, the source and lifeline of this nation.
